What To Expect At Your First Hypnosis Session

Your Initial Session

Your initial hypnosis session will last anywhere from an hour and a half to two hours. I will help you to feel relaxed and comfortable by first briefly explaining hypnosis and answering any questions you may have about the process. The next step will involve going over the intake papers that you completed prior to your session.

I will then gather information and ask you questions about your background, your medical history, and your goals for coming for hypnosis. Once all information has been obtained, I will have you do a couple of fun exercises to see what techniques will work best in order to maximize the effectiveness of your hypnosis session.

After all of this has been completed, it will be time to get started on your hypnosis session (which will take about 60 minutes.) You will be asked to get into a comfortable position, and I will guide you into a deep state of relaxation. When you come out of hypnosis, you will feel happy and refreshed and ready to go on with your day.

You may or may not remember everything that was said during your hypnosis session. Everyone experiences hypnosis differently. Your subconscious mind is always listening and will obtain all of the needed information regardless of whether you remember it or not.

What Happens At Subsequent Sessions?

If you decide to schedule subsequent sessions, your goals will be discussed and information will be gathered prior to your hypnosis session so that the session can be tailored to your needs. Once at your session, we will discuss your goals and you again be guided into a deep state of relaxation that will last approximately an hour.
